Characters Background (in relation to the RP):
Abandoned at birth and left in the care of a mediocre muggle orphanage, Naruto Uzumaki knew next to nothing about anything of the wizarding world - other than what he read in his comic books. The orphanage he attended was decent enough; it taught basic lessons such as math, writing, history, etc, which was good for most of the children. But to somebody like Naruto who's biggest goal in life was to see how many times he could thumb-tack the instructors chair before he got in trouble (a grand total of 1, by the way), trying to get him to pay attention during lessons was one of the most difficult tasks on the face of the earth. Due to his lack of attention during class, he's a complete moron, although he'll claim other wise. And if you try to tell him that he's an idiot, he'll just kinda... flail a little bit, and challenge you to a fist fightand lose.
He's also one of the worlds biggest attention seekers. If it's big, flashy, and annoying the majority of the public, Naruto's usually behind it. Because of this, people try to stray away from him, fearful that his stupid might be contageous. Needless to say he never had a lot of friends... But that never slowed him down! He always knew that he was meant for something better and greater, and kept an aggravatingly optimistic and energetic view on everything. So much energy!!
So when one day he recieved a letter containing an invitation to attend Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardy, and a wordy, in-depth, skim-through-it-because-I-have-no-idea-what-half-these-words-mean explanation telling him about his wizarding genes, Naruto was thrilled! Because now it was obviously true now that Naruto was the greaster thing - ever. After all, you didn't see all those other kids getting an acceptance letter ♥
Naruto immediately decided that he was going to become the greatest wizard in the universe. Despite having no previous knowledge of magic... or lessons in proper etiquette... or even basic multiplying and dividing skills... ...Not like any of that matters, because he's Naruto Uzumaki!
He has attended Hogwarts for 4 years now, and never once shown any convincing signs of being the greatest wizard ever - but his heart's in the right place! He loves making friends, but always winds up making more enemies and rivals than anything else.They're just jealous of his supreme and awesome power.
